Thy Kingdom Come. This was our theme and prayer yesterday as @sendpittsburgh kicked off a new season of cohorts. Loved hearing these brothers challenge, listen, celebrate, and encourage each other toward a kingdom-focused movement in PGH. It was so powerful celebrating all the great things that Jesus has done through each of these pastors and their churches this summer. In EVERY season…THANKFUL. As @vintagechurchpgh unites tomorrow for our Arise and Build Sunday, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. This August is 4 years on mission in PGH with Vintage / @sendpittsburgh and it has been quite the ride. A ride that has been filled with coming and going, partnerships all over our city and world, tons of tears of joy and pain, packed and empty rooms, launches and relaunches, and most importantly changed lives…I’m thankful for it all. After having two full houses and two solid teams to lead this mission, the Lord decided to sift and send. As we pressed on, the Lord strengthened those who remained and was faithful to transform and send many more. Our core has never been more united and positioned for the future then right now. With this family, we are ready to arise and build this fall. Our prayer is to relaunch our church in two locations on August 21st. From these mission centers we believe that God’s Spirit will unleash through God’s People an incredible God MVMT around our city and world. Let’s go Vintage. Take some time to thank Jesus for His faithfulness. Make plans to be in the house tomorrow and invite all your fam and friends.
