Hunter’s Knife [Monster Hunter] Progress Report #3
BACK IN ACTION. Most of this report is paint work. I used multiple coats of Rustoleum Titanium Silver and Hammered Texture Black to get the color of the metal, as well as Gloss Ivory for the claw.
To darken certain areas I used a wash of watered down, black, Amsterdam acrylic paint. Finally for the edge, I used aluminum tape, buffed down with steel wool to remove some of the shine. The aluminum tape gives a really good look but it’s pretty unwieldy, I want to get a better hold on it in the future.
