These are questions to not just you,but myself as well: What are we really doing to make a difference/be different?How are we handling the darkness & brokenness of this world?How much of panicking,complaining,arguing & hating are we doing?Now how much praying,worshipping,opening the bible,& loving are we doing?How much tearing down,throwing stones/pointing fingers are we doing when we should be building up & owning up/holding ourselves accountable & keeping ourselves on check?Are we being driven by fear & our own emotions rather than faith & spirit led in the words we speak,how we react & treat others?One thing I always ask myself is "Am I being an effective Christ follower or effective complainer adding to the problem(s)?" Because it's not "I'm being a good person so that should suffice" because good doesn't match Christ likeness when everything we do & say should be a reflection of the One we believe in & follow. Our vertical relationship w/Him should effect our actions & horizontal interactions/relationships with others.We need a Christianity that goes into our homes & everyday lives,especially when opposition & troubles come.Because Jesus did say that troubles would come in fact he guaranteed that they would.Are we contributing to the division & chaos or choosing to bring unity & love our neighbor,even a neighbor we might not agree with. "There is never a reason to be unkind.There may be reasons to disagree;but there is never a reason to be unkind.βWhen it comes down to it God see's His creation & the hearts & thoughts of His creation;not political party,race or socioeconomic status & ultimately will judge each of us the same,holding each of us accountable for our time here on this earth. No one is exempt.Open your bible,intercede,tap into His presence & love your neighbbor.Don't give the enemy the satisfaction of seeing you blending in w/this broken world.Make sure it's evident which army you're a soldier in,which Kingdom you belong to so that he see's you overcoming evil & hate by doing good,& your prayers cause him & his army to tremble.Be bold & take action beyond the phone/computer screen. . #thoughts #prayer #faith #weallneedJesus #hope #love #life
