Do you prefer when people use singular terms like 'you' or do you prefer when they use plural terms like 'you guys'?
we prefer that people we don't know well stick to plural terms most of the time!
we're okay with any kind of plural terms--you guys, y'all, you folks, you&, etc..
however, if you're specifically referring to one alter(i.e., complimenting a specific piece of art made by a specific alter) refer to them in the singular, by their own name and pronouns!
generally, use plural if it's appropriate grammatically! think of us as a group of people--when referring to all of us use plural, but when referring just one member of the group use singular :D
overall: stick to plural when in doubt :)
if you don't know who's fronting but you want to speak to the specific fronter and not the whole group for whatever reason, refer to the fronter as "leather" and use they/them! otherwise we're just leathersys :)
