5) Waverly really has some special skills…

WAVERLY: Okay, I haven't told anyone this, but I've been looking into spy schools. JEREMY: Uh, there are no… WAVERLY: Such thing as spy schools, I know.

But I'd be good! I know it. I'm super bendy, so small spaces aren't a thing. I can speak four languages fluently, and I was once hit by a tranquilizer dart and still went to band practice.

6) I really love the running gag of Wynonna snapping at Jeremy. Have I told you that I like him a lot? I think he’s a very fun addition to the group, probably playing the part of the comic relief a little bit, but with everything that the other characters have gone through, it’s a welcome change in the dynamics of the group. BTW, does this group have a name like the Scoobies or something? If they do but it’s part of the storyline and hasn’t been mentioned yet, please don’t tell me, I’ll figure it out on my own.

8) I really like how Wynonna and Nicole being open and communicating their concerns about Waverly is what helped Wynonna put two and two together. I usually complain about TV shows creating conflict by having characters not talk to each other where a simple conversation would eliminate the conflict altogether. So it’s kind of refreshing to have them face this huge conflict head-on by having two characters address their worries. I wonder if the whole “Waverly is possessed” will be resolved in this episode or if they are going to stretch it out…

9) Well, he’s not exactly happy to see Wynonna…

Also, what the fuck is he?

Of course, he seems to restrain himself when Wynonna goes “hey, it’s me, Wynonna, the woman you love.” Well, she doesn’t say that, but it’s heavily implied. And I’m not sure if I’m such a fan of the “woman tames the beast with her love” trope, but let’s see what they do with it…

10) Waverly will have to be… entertaining. I wonder what she will end up doing on stage… For some reason, I’m picturing a striptease…

11) YES, DOC! YES! Why doesn’t Wynonna trust Jeremy? He’s such a cinnamon roll!

WYNONNA: Well, let me just call Black Badge and tell them we have their number one fugitive and that we'd like to borrow their recipe for demon dope, okay? DOC: Unless Jeremy? WYNONNA: We can't trust him. He's so… DOC: Willing to help?

12) Wynonna’s little speech to Dolls about how she’ll be there for him even if he turns into a lizard or a salamander reminds me of Cordelia’s speech to Xander in Go Fish when she thought he’d turned into a fish…

13) Dolls managed to get himself out of his pain-induced frenzy to tell Wynonna to watch out for Waverly…

14) How is she still alive? And what did she mean when she said her sister was putting on her face? Did the two dark figures take over their bodies? I mean, we can hear her sister screaming in the background when her brother leaves…

15) OMFG, she’s so excited!

16) Where did she get that dress?

Also, is getting Waverly into different costumes like a thing in this show? Seriously, how many fantasies do they plan to tick off the list?

And she beat her stage fright in record time, didn’t she?

17) OMG, the fucking bitch didn’t bring any backup! And she was just sitting there in the van while Waverly was asking for help?! Bless Wynonna for slapping her fucking bitch face!

18) So, Cujo and the dude from The Silence are going to have a “chat” with Waverly and Wynonna about the contents of the briefcase, but the girls don’t really know what’s in it, do they? And… will possessed Waverly come out to play and save the day?

19) Why doesn’t anyone trust Jeremy? I’ve trusted him immediately since he helped Waverly when she broke into BB HQ. Seriously. I’d be devastated if he turns out to be playing for the other team…

21) Oh, I’m so glad that Waverly is so self-aware, she knows something is up with her! But why is Wynonna in denial? And I finally get that the gooey stuff that Waverly touched in the season 1 finale was demon leftover from the snake Wynonna sliced. Thanks, show, for spelling that out for me because I didn’t get it.

23) I really love how Doc and Dolls are getting along, but it breaks my heart how insightful Doc is and what this means for my ship… I guess the show is really going in the Wynonna/Dolls direction, isn’t it? BUT WHY?!

DOLLS: You know, I think you're kind of afraid that the ladies will cool down, now that the competition's back. DOC: Well, I think one lady in particular doesn't know what she wants, though I suspect she will prefer it to be human. DOLLS: Well, you look really small without your hat.

But it’s very refreshing how they’ve handled the love “triangle” and the transition from one ship to the next. The macho competition was barely there at all, and Dolls and Doc formed a bond of their own that transcends the Earps and Wynonna in particular. Besides, they’re very open about Wynonna and what she means to them and how she feels about them, so they’ve removed the awkwardness of their relationship.

24) So, Juan Carlos, or “JC” (Jesus Christ?), is the guy who got Dolls back to the Earps’ homestead… Hm. I mean, he did tell Dols that his job wasn’t done, so he’s definitely a TPTB player. The question is, what team is he playing for?

25) I honestly didn’t know that a person wearing a cute cat T-shirt could be so creepy, and yet…

How long till we kill him, gang?

I knew one of the Es must stand for “Earp”, but what the eff is in that briefcase? And why is it made of an unknown metal?

And now he’s coughing and laughing, but he seems to be himself? So he only had to let out some of that fire breath to relieve himself? What the hell is going on?

37) Of course, the evil dude has to be all ominous right before he’s shot, “Something is coming” yada yada yada. We know that, it’s a supernatural show, there’s always something coming.

38) He is a fucking pervert, and these two are going to nurture him into achieving the highest levels of creepiness, aren’t they?

39) So… there’s a plate in the briefcase. That is odd and underwhelming. Is it a magic plate?

40) Oh lord… Bitch has shown her face. And she’s definitely a demon.

41) Oh Jebus! At first I thought the demon was coming onto Wynonna, and that was creepy enough, but then…

...but... like... why didn’t Wynonna pull away when Waverly came on to her...? help.

42) Yeah, this shows continues to wow me with how nicely paced and packed all the episodes are. There’s never a dull moment, and there are always some surprises. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
