Can’t beliveeeeee that 1 singular game back from break and people are saying buh buh but is smitty gonna be traded????? Have these people watched/listened to a hockey season or just read willmack ai slop fic…like that’s mean but come on. In what world is the 4th overall, second in points, star player in his own right, getting traded after one poorly played game. They just lack a common understanding that yes Mack is the future C generational player , but the whole team rebuild is also Will…and Misa….and Yaro. Like of course they’re not trading Will! i actually think that the fact that mack is "generational" or "the future captain" or the franchise cornerstone etc etc is the one thing that everyone does understand. the fact that a 20-year-old player has ups and downs in his development, the fact that a rebuild takes years... that's the hard part, bc they want to see mack in the playoffs and winning the hart NEOW. but i don't want that. i don't want to see him lose the olympic gold medal AND get swept 4-0 in a playoff series against col/edm/vgk in the same calendar year. like jesus christ, we HAVE to miss the playoffs LMFAOOOOO
