football crowds singing in stadiums, people rebuilding homes after earthquakes, leaders gathering around conference tables trying to negotiate peace, strangers donating to people they'll never meet, someone somewhere falling in love, someone somewhere grieving. the world keeps ending and beginning at the same time.
Today is shaping up to be a rough one: I had a bad mood dip during my morning walk with the dogs. This is not ideal because my daily cardio in green space should be you know. A preventative towards dips. A stabilizer if you will. Instead I’ve had an abrupt plummet to the darkest possible timeline and I’m facing the horrifying fate of clawing my way back to functioning when actually I had some work projects I was really excited about. This does happen. It’s fucking terrible, and it will get better or worse or different. The nature of existence is change. And some days knowing that might be all you get.

Passed my old neighbor driving to get some supplies. He didn’t recognize me with my septum pierced and a new(er) car. He mentioned how I was coming up. Life’s been moving so fast the last couple of years I just never gave it much thought. It feels good having other people recognize the growth but I need to do better at recognizing it too. It was only 3 years ago where I was in a new state, working a dead-end job barely affording a studio apartment. I got lucky. I grinded a lot to get to this point but I got lucky. I’m grateful for it all. The good and the bad. Next up, buying property.
