Sonic and Mega Man have a bit of trouble with the Devil monster, but Duo has been built up for a few pages this crossover, and heās here to take on the Chaos Devil for them.
Pfft, get a load of the Big the Cat and Quint cameo in the base, and the Mean Bean Machine on the bottom floor too??
It wouldnāt be an Eggman/Wily base without a Yellow Devil-like obstacle. It being based on Perfect Chaos is an added bonus.
Tails gets gravely injured by one of BalladeāsĀ bombs, but donāt worry, he turns out alright.
We donāt see much of the interior of the Wily Egg, but the aesthetics seem to mostly be a metallic blue, with spikes and just a couple of Sonic 3ā²s Death Eggās set pieces. And yeah, Sonic and Mega Man are still competing for who should be leading based on which obstacles are more familiar. Even Tails and Rush are starting to get annoyed!
I always thought the nameĀ āMega Man Killersā was so redundant, because thatās kinda the reason why Wily makes any of his robots.

I think here is where doctors Wily and Eggman have their official falling out, and all due to Wily preferring his long-time rival and former colleague be humiliated, not outright killed. Its a little bit ambiguous, but Iām pretty sure Wily also saw Dr. Light live, because they donāt go into his old rivalās death and only says Eggman ātried to killā Thomas.

Of all the people to rescue the good doctor, I never expected Mr. Brood over here to be the one to save Dr. Light. I donāt think even he expected he would, because he just drops the dude on the ground as if he was embarrassed about it. Dr. Light also seems so as he immediately crawls away towards Proto Man.
Also oh my god, I only now realise that Proto Manās got huge anime sunglasses so that it perfectly fits in his helmet. I donāt know if thatās corny design or amazing?
