Been playing a lotta Ghost Recon Wildlands as of late, it's probably my go-to "generic open-world dumb fun game" now (last one was Far Cry 5). It's not a bad game, and serves the purpose really well, just don't expect the OG game or even GRAW. Maybe "MGSV with a shitty, albeit more open sandbox" might be accurate. If you're able to find the game for cheap, and don't mind UPlay too much if you're on PC, it might be worth it. Christ screwing with the customization might be half my playtime.
For the fireteam's appearance (and most names, guess which one isn't) I used a small faction from @theoracleofllaena's novels as inspiration, mostly because you act more like insurgents than specops in this game. At least I think you do.
