oh, to be young and foolish.

as the saying goes, “love makes you blind.”

blind to the obvious and hyper-aware to the tell-tale signs of love; love was in the air, love is in the air. 

to gaze upon you was a miracle to me, to graze my fingertips across your very being amazes me. 

i ponder upon the whereabouts of the impending sense of insecurity and self-loathing i so religiously felt before your rainbow painted my monochrome life.

where is my insecurity, now that i glimpse into your soul? 

truth be told, your light and radiance had scattered away the demons in my heart until nothing filled it but pure love and care for your existence.

when your sweet cherry lips met mine, my world exploded; truly, this is what love feels like.
