Can I hear a little commotion for the dress?

I went dress shopping for the next Wayne Gala today. I wanted to lean into the pride theme of fighting homelessness in LGBTQIA+ youth. I will be brandishing my rainbow in solidarity, and embracing the beauty of nature. 🥰🥰🥰

I was meant to go shopping with Mom, but she had an emergency at work so I took Darius (I made him take photos for me). We had a lovely day, we did our groceries and finished the day with a little ice-cream "date".😋😋😋

She made her way to the azula garden, she assumed there would be flowers there, she wanted to see if the one she was named after were there.

It’s been a while since she had ever been in heels, but this was the night she’d allowed herself to ignore the pain she’d get later. Gave her extra confidence.

And it was obviously shown in the way she talked and greeted people tonight, the way the dress hugs her body and flows from it gave it such a feeling of comfort in herself. Or maybe it was the intimacy with herself that the mask gave her.

She was not so much found of galas, but definitely this was a dream of it, even if the nasty smell of alcohol was present. The fancy outfits and the masks over people's faces made it entretaining almost like this was taken out of a novel.

It was probably wrong to be desensitised by this. To be making observations as she stood on the lawn, testing headlines as stood silently.

Billionaire Assassinated at Wayne Gala! Or Luthor Gunned Down By Masked Hitman. Or Batman Stands By While Metropolis Supervillain Is Shot, for the Gotham papers.

But had everyone else seen Deathstroke disappear in a glowing red flash?

Did she have to stick around to give a statement? To the police?

Because she needed to get the Metropolis as soon as possible. Give Lois everything she had, extricate everything she had involved and get out of there.

Bruce forced all his children to attend the gala. They are not impressed.

So they decide to be little demons and cause chaos. This gala will never be forgotten.

Their plan starts a while after the guests arrive.

It starts with paint coming from hidden cannons, wet paint falling from the ceiling. Then glitter. But not just a small amount, I'm talking tons of glitter. And as the final act, animals. Dogs, cats, birds and even horses comes running in, causing, chaos, destruction, panic and a big mess.

Dottie managed to excuse herself from Lex’s arm, slipping away from the main ballroom. Glancing in the rooms until she found a quiet, dim drawing room. The information packet had said something about a Quiet Room and, hoping she’d found it, she slipped inside. Leaving the door ajar.

A fire crackling in the hearth and some green-topped desk lamps were all that lit the elegant room. She ignored the armchairs by the fire and moved to the chaise. Kicking her shoes off, she lay along the cushions and rested her forearm over her eyes.
