@rowancarey Throwback Thursday to this large commission I completed in 2018. This was a really fun one to paint, I’d like to paint some big crashing waves again! Even in a few short years I can see where there would be room to improve if I painted this now. The goal is to always be getting better! I believe that we should all strive for better, no matter what it is in life. Try to avoid complacency and mediocrity. Comfort is like ice cream, a little bit is good, but too much is bad. Make yourself uncomfortable, do something that challenges you wether it be physically or mentally. We’re meant to overcome challenges. Life is like a game, and most of the time you’re competing with yourself.
