My watercolor painting was finished in record time. Nothing motivates like a deadline; and of course using a single color.
This photo was originally black & white, but that doesn’t really look great in watercolor. I wanted to paint each of them in their album cover colors, but yellow doesn’t really work in midtones or shadows, plus I thought the final result would look crazy.
I had a vision of doing it completely in ultramarine blue, and couldn’t get it out of my head. It also worked that it was one of the album cover colors, and happens to be these colors 🇫🇮
Please forgive me, but it’s called… BLUEmaa.
