Surely the first thing Chiro didn’t expect to see on his first outing in exploring this strange city was a crowd a bit down the sidewalk as he walked.
The crowd consisted of mainly swarms of sheep, though humans, more than likely passerby’s, were also in the midst of the crowd. The teen couldn’t quite make out at what they were looking at even when he tried jumping from the back. Sure he was rather tall for his age, but even the taller humans that were in the crowd blocked his view, making him rather annoyed.
He tried weaving his way through the crowd though the onslaught of sheep compact tightly in the small space made it rather difficult for the Hyperforce leader to get through.
Of course though once he gets close enough to catch a glimpse of long blue hair in the middle of the crowd, the teen immediately felt himself being pushed back by the sheep that were also trying to get a closer look.
Today just doesn’t seem like his day.
It was one treasure he hadn’t managed to get ahold of yet, never having gotten the chance to visit the world Kiva called home. But now, now he had a chance, because by some huge stretch of luck, the creature called Kivat sat on a bench, his owner seemingly nowhere in sight. It was almost too perfect.
Definitely too perfect. Even as he had grabbed the bat, he heard footsteps behind him, and he turned, quickly affixing a smile to his face and bringing his hands back to clasp both behind his back, hiding the bat behind with it.
“Ah, you must be... Wataru?” He said cheerily, tilting his head to the side. Yes, he recognized him now. Not the Kiva he knew of, that one was much, much younger, but they had briefly met once before. Although it was unclear whether or not the Rider would recognize him in turn.
“You may not know me, I don’t think we were ever formally introduced. The name’s Kaitou, Kaitou Daiki.”

Murder is bad, even for bats - Kintaros/Wataru

Kintaros was having a rather enjoyable day. The weather was nice, he hadn’t broken anything yet, and things were just pretty calm. Kintaros couldn’t ask for a more relaxing day in sector 6. He was taking a walk, the fur around his neck rustling softly against the winds in the park. Kintaros turned his head, looking out to the other park goers who seemed to be at ease. Kintaros saw a child giving him a strange look, and sent a wave in his direction. He couldn’t gain a rep as a bad guy around here! Or at least, he thought he couldn’t. He brought his arm down from the wave, and felt his arm smack a small object, and he heard clattering on the ground behind him. Kintaros gasped turning on a heel and finding a small yellow bat on the ground at his feet. Kintaros dropped to his knees immediately, hoping the bat would survive the smack.
“Are you okay my friend?! Speak to me!”, Kintaros shouted out, the small robotic bat giving no response at first. “What a shame... this animal’s spirit leaves this world and no one bats an eye...”, Kintaros managed to make a pun, even in this dark time of grieving. He saw a rather shy looking kid off to the side of the murder scene. “W-was he your friend?! I’m so sorry!”, Kintaros pleaded from his knees, hoping that he’d be forgiven.

‘Um...’ it couldn't have been, could it? there weren't many people in this area, but he could have sworn the noise came from the man ahead of him, though while he could understand a few words, the sound itself didn't quite sound human.
‘...did your belt just speak...?’
☾ [muffled careless whisper]
These streets were still too crowded for his liking. He didn't like bumping shoulders with everyone as he moved from one sector to the next, and he didn't like controlling his speed to match with the people ahead or behind. Another effect happened to be accidents--or entirely purposeful sabotages--that once in a while happened to another pedestrian nearby.
It happened when he finally managed to get a breather. The crowd was thin on this street; not many to avoid up ahead. A young man was headed in his direction, but he looked ordinary enough that Edward didn't pay him much attention. He only did when the guy lurched forward, obviously off balance and ready to collide with him--or fall, should Edward step aside.
So he did what his instincts pushed him to do, which was try to safely catch the man. There was a whirlwind of movement and contact, but no painful collisions. As they ended up, it probably appeared to bystanders that they were a couple dancing on the sidewalk, and Edward had just leaned the other back into a dip.
"Are you all right?"
