Peter nodded, forcing a smirk on his features. His entire body was in pain, and he wished MJ wasn’t there to actually see that. But on the other hand, maybe it was better if there was someone around, just in case it became worse than it already was. But he didn’t want her to worry about him. Anyway, on the next day, he would probably be fine. It was always the first few hours that were bad.

Harry sighed. He had forgotten to wear that stupid scarf, right ? And of course, MJ had noticed, because she was always so observant with everyone. He didn’t want her to worry, though; he was SCARED enough himself. But hopefully, he would find a way to not become sick like his father had been.

      MJ’s vibrant to him. A breath of fresh air. A soul that hadn’t been anticipated. Peter had been floored the moment they were introduced. This was partially due to other versions of himself that had their own MJ. The other part, because she just seemed so full of life. In the years since he lost Gwen, he practically forgot how to live. He’d been to focused on his grief and Spider-Man.

      Peter’s focus hadn’t been on the stars, if there were any. Why focus on all the others when there was one just in his view? A smile built on his face along with hers, and he begun to wonder, how did he miss someone like her back in high school? Peter shook his head and leaned into her shoulder. “I don’t need that.” He shrugs. I’m only asking for your time, MJ.”

Peter sighed. When MJ had seen the scar on his arms, he had quickly moved it to prevent her from seeing this, but of course it had been too late. She was observant; he wished she wasn’t. He knew she was just caring, but he didn’t deserve it. No one should care about someone like him.
