@warriorearned is getting a plotted starter!
A small sigh puffed out of Nico’s mouth as he carefully opened one of the grand doors into the mead hall, the building so different from any of the gathering spaces or indeed any of the godly palaces back home. But Odin said this was how things were done in Asgard and he did not have much experience otherwise, even if he didn’t necessarily trust Odin. After meeting with the ruler of the Aesir and being settled in a small room nearby, Nico thought he might wander a little bit before he took up his work of gathering information for Odin. He didn’t want to call it spying, even if that’s what it was. It was an agreement--information for information--and hopefully Nico would learn about what happened to his brother.
The hall seemed to be mostly empty at that time of day except for one figure reading a book. “Oh, I’m sorry to intrude,” Nico murmured. Usually people readings books did not want to be interrupted, Nico knew from experience, and he wavered by the door. Maybe it would be best to simply move forward with his mission?
Nico's stomach grumbled loudly, but there was that to attend to. He took a careful step forward. Nico was hungry and this seemed to be the place for food.
