I always find it so funny how you have this hypereligous nun of a cat and her girlfriend is like one of the only atheists whos skeptical of the weird hyper religious sentiment the cults they live in got going on, anyways heres the post!
if you scroll wayyyy back you’ll see i have done mini comics before, and i loooved them so much! so i decided, hey why not just do more! so i was like hmmm of what, and well i initially was doing my own thing spinning the wheel of wc characters to pick a character to come up with a design for to post and it gave me mothwing! and i was like uhhhh okay i guess who cares ive already posted her a ton, so i go on her a wiki and BAM, this beautiful quote is just there waiting for me, and im like ZOMG! i can literally envision the romantic sunset and vibe thats going on but no, if you read twilight (the book it takes place in) its just a one off statement leafpool discards. so im like WHAT! i gotta give this quote the justice it deserves dog, soooooo i plan it out and whateva, then comes sketching the cats and first im like, okay ill just do it some random cartoony style, but well, recently i got mudclaws graphic novel and fell in love with james l barrys landscapes at how he depicts each character so vividly even though theyre not that stylised! and well, i decided to pay my respects to that signature style of art we may not recieve again. i think i fell in love with drawing cats when i did, i remember as a kid trying to copy mothwing design line for line and i loved how cat like the anatomy was, although ill always love stylisation, sometimes there is something nostalgic and warm in the preservation of realistic features.
If you thought that was long, read my comment for a scene that I wrote to envision what would lead up to this scenario, and if you made it here is the initial final before i realised what i drew contradicted what it was saying
