so ive been getting into war machines (read the fic here!) and i just have to gush cause holy shit
first of all- there’s so much to read and i knew from chapter 1 it was gonna be good. i was so right
i really wanna highlight i love penny being written as a trans allegory, and it makes me realize how important it is to have queer media that represents us. to see the things we’re feeling put into words, to see that we aren’t alone in our worries so much so that people write about it. i WISH this was something i could have had when i was younger, i wonder if i had been exposed to more mainstream, casual presentations of trans people if i would have questioned my gender sooner.
also trans ruby!! SCREAMING!! i genuinely said out loud “oh yay a new character i can project onto!” when i saw the tag i was so fucking happy
