Battledroids, a game of armored combat, FASA, 1984 -- This is the 1st edition of the game that was rereleased the following year as BattleTech due to Lucasfilm claiming ownership of the word "droid." Alan Gutierrez' box art depicts a WHM6R Warhammer mech, and was used on the first 3 editions (1e Battledroids 1984, 2e BattleTech 1985, and first English printings of 3e 1992).
These early editions included mech designs like the Warhammer that were derived from anime art, licensed from plastic model importer Twentieth Century Imports. FASA later discontinued these after disputes over licensing and they became known as the "Unseen" mechs, sometimes mentioned in lore but no longer depicted in miniature or game art.

Get That Ball Dolls!
Time for me to unveil my newest project, Doll.Ball. The game's a sports-based wargame in the vein of bloodbowl, but in a cyberpunk setting with 'wared up dolls scrambling to toss a ball through some gnarly terrain. It's an early access ashcan for now, so y'all can have a taste of what I got in store for y'all.
This game's been on my mind for years really, in many different forms. I've always wanted to explore cards as a resolution mechanic for a wargame- the bluffing, the ressource management aspect, there's just so much to dig into!
And well, I've been a long time bloodbowl player, so now you get to reap what I've sown and play some Doll.Ball. Enjoy!

Don’t think I’ve shared anything about this on Tumblr yet, but I painted up all but one of the official Trench Crusade models for the faction known as the Iron Sultanate! Don’t have an official assassin model but I got an alternative that’ll be painted up in the future (maybe not this month as I should be doing some yearly apocalypse prep)
