my drifter and her emotional support protoframe
I got way too into the idea of Arirals in the Voices of the Void, so I decided to make an Ariral version of the Protoframes from Warframe.

I'm torn between wanting to do the Asshat route for Zaethrin's confession, just a soft confession during that same...argument(?), or wait till Arthur asks him about the flirting and his feelings.
I sort of want to do the Asshat because there's never really an apology from Arthur for being an...well, asshat. He does if you don't confess or are already dating him, but nothing else otherwise. I kind of want to write that in. Zaethrin knows where Arthur's coming from, having been stuck in a loop himself and knowing he'd be pissed if there was someone there who could come and go as they please. It doesn't make Arthur said hurt any less, but he gets it.
Also, the whole 'I'm not even human' part would make Zaethrin heartbroken for the man. Because he gets that on so many levels.
Buuuut, with the softer confession, it's kind of cute the way Arthur is so hopeful and vulnerable. "Then...I saw you come alive. Because of us. Maybe even...Because of me." Ugh, so fricken CUTE.
Of course there's the 'Arthur asking route.' And him threaten to break both your ankles if you're pulling his leg still. Pfft. And then there's this:
Broadsword: Good. Broadsword: Because... Broadsword: It's mutual. Drifter: :D :D :D Broadsword: Three emoteethingies must mean something good. Drifter: You are so adorable. Broadsword: Yeah, yeah.
Ugh, these two...
Writing this out has helped me a bit. I think I know what I'm going to do in game--depending on what order they give me the convos. And what I'm going to write in my fics...if I ever get that point. @_@
