âWe can use this as a test run, as a test case, to really perfect ICEâs involvement in the 2026 midterms."
Jacob Knutson at Democracy Docket:
Steve Bannon suggested that President Donald Trump deployed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to major U.S. airports as part of a âtest runâ for using them to meddle in upcoming elections. âWe can use this as a test run, as a test case, to really perfect ICEâs involvement in the 2026 midterms,â Bannon, a close Trump ally, said on his War Room podcast Monday.
[...]
Bannonâs new suggestion, which he said he was making to âblow up mainstream mediaâs head today,â came as he was interviewing Mike Davis, a far-right lawyer assisting with Trumpâs effort to fill the judiciary with unquestioning loyalists. Davis said he agreed with Bannonâs proposal, saying, âI think we should have ICE agents at the polling place because if youâre an illegal alien, you canât vote.Â
âItâs against the law. Itâs a federal crime for you to vote in federal elections. And so if youâre an American citizen, you should be happy that ICE is there, because youâre not going to have illegal aliens cancelling out your vote,â Davis added. Neither Bannon nor Davis noted that noncitizens fraudulently voting is virtually nonexistent. Numerous studies and voter roll audits have shown that vanishingly few noncitizens attempt to register, and fewer still try to vote. Later in the episode, Bannon moved beyond suggesting and definitely stated that ICE would be at the polls come November. âTheyâre trained to, wait for it, check IDs,â Bannon said. âThatâs why itâs perfect training for the fall of 2026. This is why itâs such a brilliant â this is another 5D chess move from President Trump.â
âThatâs whatâs going to happen in the fall of 2026. Because, folks, weâre tired of having elections stolen. ICE is going to be there in the fall of â26, just like theyâre in airports today. So, from the War Room, suck on that!â he added.
On the Monday edition of his War Room show, Stephen Bannon gave praise to Donald Trumpâs air travel catastrophe-causing ICE deployment at airports as a prelude to meddle into the 2026 midterms.

So this is what Vertin's War Room looks like. So many stacks of paper. You can see Wilderness beyond the slanted windows.
Ms. Radio lending a helping hand.
Time to continue discussing that Worm au villain group, War Room, and in particular its leader, Warmonger. Below the cut, as it feels more aesthetically pleasing to me
(HeroForge figures I made for him)
Warmonger, real name Herman Shepherd, is an older man, and the leader of War Room
In his personal life, Herman is a history teacher at a local high-school in the city of Kingston (fictional city where the story takes place), conveniently within the edges of War Room territory. His teaching mainly focuses on the history of warfare, as that is his personal interest. All things considered, he is a pretty good teacher, and does care for his students greatly
As Warmonger, he is quite different. His costume, an attempt of which is shown above, is styled after an American Civil War uniform, particularly the Union "Commanding General of the United States Army". At his side, he wields a (decorative) sword. In order to further the intended intimidation factor of his whole design, he also deepens his voice, adding a cold tone to it compared to his normally kind, warm nature
His power itself is a weird one, sort of a Master/Shaker. Effectively, he can first summon a low, glowing, blue-white mist/fog. In theory, his effective range for it is very large, able to cover most of his territory so long as he is aware of/perceiving the area. The origin of this fog does not have to be him. From this fog, he can form spectral soldiers and other implements of human conflict/war, all glowing and colored in the same way as the fog.
Commonly, he uses this to command a small group of soldiers and potentially a few artillery. The actual projectiles shot out are more akin to blasts of energy, a rocket/missile just erupting in a way similar to what Blasters like Purity do. His limits for what he can create are very broad, allowing him to summon all manners of war-related things (horses, ancient weaponry, modern weapons, etc.) so long as he can visualize and understand the parts. However, due to his particular fascination with the American Civil War, he mainly focuses on creating things the Union army at the time may have used. The durability of his constructs is not very high, able to take a singular blow before dissipating.
He can also create a copy of himself from this, and transplant his consciousness into it for a time. When doing so, he lives through that construct of himself, and commonly does this instead of appearing in-person when handling more petty threats.
I still need to finalize it, but I think the methods of controlling his soldiers changes based on range. Closer-range, he can do it mentally, ordering them with thoughts and (unneeded) hand gestures, sometimes even verbal commands. Farther away, and they require more effort, and potentially verbal commands (such as through generated walkie-talkie/radio systems) to function beyond initial orders
There is probably more I am forgetting to mention. Please, if you have any questions, ask and I shall answer!
Vibax is so heckin creepy and interesting, I canât believe they killed her off after 2 episodes. She would have been such a cool and different sort of villain
