Letβs be real. Now that the Lotus is gone, the operators need someone to keep the Tenno from doing dumb shit again since they are children.

But yeah these are all characters I think are genuinely valid to be seen as some way or another, a possible parental figure, even for a brief period of time.
Tyl Regor: was actually right about the Lotus, might end up pitying the Tenno for it, but since his agenda seems far more different from other grineer bosses might let you live and send you condolences. Also heβs the closest thing the grineer have ever seen to being a parental figure, because of the tubemen.
Mother: do I have to explain this? After ranking up with the entrati you literally are welcomed as part of their family!
Alad V: similar to Regor, has a slightly different agenda. Also, despite what heβs done in the past, heβs helped the Tenno a few times, and is high key kinda encouraging to them during these instances. Like Tyl as well, cares deeply for his Zanuka, like itβs his child (during his fight, he will yell βDONT TOUCH HERβ when you attack the Zanuka, but itβs a bit quiet so you may have not noticed)
Father: same as mother! Plus during orphix he talks to you the same way a dad would to his child. Calls the Tenno βkiddoβ
Converted Lich: some of the converted Lich lines are kinda wholesome in a way. They appear when you need them most, they are there to help, and make sure you donβt die :)
Umbra: umbra was an actual father! He probably wants to have that sort of relationship back.
Onkko: onkko is one of the only shopkeeps who isnβt upset if you donβt buy wears and is very sympathetic to the Tenno. He is a natural at offering guidance.
Ordis: ordis just wants you to feel better after the lotus leaves, which is why he takes it into his own hands to simulate her appearance. He always seems to put the operator first, even when they are being kinda selfish. He probably cares about you more than the lotus did.
Cephalon Cy: even though heβs stern as fuck, there is still emotion there. As you do rail Jack missions, he probably enjoys the feeling of being able to lead a crew again. This isnβt very close to parental, but I like to count it anyways because he still helps guide the Tenno.
