Like im loosing my mind, just setting up more punchlines than any good jester like Walky could ignore. The double reversal of the love sleuth bit, joyce being wrong about someone being straight again, dorothy mimicking beckys relationship with god for some reason. Not to mention the clear and obvious joke that not only is dorothy clearly into amber, but the unending bit of Joyce both being too aware and completly ignorant of her crushes on people while openly saying broken up people go to amber.

She just got broken up with due to hilarious conversational managment with Joe.

He was *right* to be worried, he was right and he understood Billie perfectly, but because of Billies batshit toxic decisions (based) he was *wrong.* He was made to feel as if he was silly to ever be worried, like the distance between his capabilities and his ability to understand this woman who should be like a sister to him, was insurmountable. But its not, he understood her, but after this he felt like he never could.

I feel as if the story of Walky is the story of someone who was coasting through life, someone who was barely present in the self, but wanted to grow up, wanted to be better, wanted to be someone dependable, and *succeeded*. Yet because of the people around him, hes been made to think that things that should be true are false. That assumptions of his very self that should have been tossed out or reevaluted in this process of growing up, where in fact innate. (And I do think this is another example of Dorothy being bad for him, of her slowing down his growth because she isnt just okay with him stagnating from this person he hated being, but actively promoted the idea that there are parts of him, like his inability to understand Billie, even though he did, as things that are unmalleable)

This entire family is out to get her
