It’s New Route Friday!
This week we head out of Fife for a short stroll to enjoy some magnificent views over the Firth of Forth. Mark Collins has shared a easy going 7.5km walk across the Forth Road Bridge which offers some scenery that can’t bee missed. This week we have another historical walk shared with us by amateur historian Andrew Caird. In this walk Andrew takes us on a visit to the ruins of the a hill fort and homestead sited on the top of Glenduckie hill. It’s New Route Friday!
We have two new coastal/countryside routes shared wth us this week. The first route has been shared with us by Karen Redman. Petra’s Winter Wander is pleasant mid-distance walk through the countryside surrounding Newport-on-Tay and one that her dog Petra really enjoys. The second route comes from Sean of Walk Fife. The Heughs Loop is nice coastal wander between Aberdour and Burntisland that combines a few of Sean’s past routes with a little additional leg added in.
