Tucker

Powers:  Blood manipulation, healing factor, can gain strength from absorbing blood

When he was a kid just discovering his powers, everyone used to tell Tucker he would turn out to be a supervillain. It was mostly a joke, though there were some that saw him manipulating drops of blood and said only a villain would have a power like that. The Heroes’ Association thought overwise.

Upon taking the power test, they saw the potential in Tucker’s powerset and took him in for training. They took him from a kid manipulating drops of blood to being able to paralyse someone by literally holding their blood still. To being able to absorb blood to do incredible feats of strength and ability. He’s one of their most promising up and coming superheroes.

He was also one of the luckier trainees. He lived in a city with a Heroes’ Association training facility so, unlike many, he didn’t have to leave his friends and family completely. So he was able to stay in contact with his friend Tom who had weak enough powers to keep living as a civilian. As well as becoming close to Sonja and Jordan within the association. 

Then Tom and Sonja were declared supervillains. And Tucker has never felt so betrayed. He never imagined that Tom was hiding powers and the fact that Sonja used a villain's ritual to gain more powers just felt wrong.

Even if there is a tiny voice inside whenever he has to fight either of them, he and the Association are the ones in the wrong. But he's a loyal hero, he quashes that voice down as he would any of his doubts.

Though, that is becoming ever harder now that he's been picked to be a part of the team whose main aim is to take down Tom and his supervillain gang.

Jordan

Powers: Technology manipulation, electrical manipulation, explosive reactions (dampened)

Jordan was taken in by the Heroes’ Association at an even younger age than most. While most get their powers in controllable doses, Jordan's come in incredibly strong at an incredibly young age and he had very little control over them. Even now with years of training he still wears a power damper specifically to stop his explosive reactions from being too powerful.

However, his other powers are now completely under his control and he's a force to be reckoned with. The shining star of the up and coming heroes. Anywhere with any sort of an electrical connection he can quickly gain the advantage and he's been using his technology manipulation and knowledge to create weapons and gadgets for himself and those he works with. 

Given his unique situation, he had never realised that the Heroes' Association and particularly power testing was controversial. When he was presented with the idea, it seemed baffling to him given that he saw what the Association did for him as unarguably good.

His opinion hasn't shifted since he started having to fight Tom, but he has had to argue his point a lot more now. Tom seems to love annoying him about being the Association's ‘golden boy’ and attempting to goad him into saying things that make them look bad. Tucker has said he thinks Tom is flirting - Jordan hopes to god that that's a joke.

Jordan also was one of the heroes that went to deal with Capsize and Redbeard's situation. It was his first experience in a place where the Heroes' Association is heavily disliked and it was incredibly jarring for him. 

But he tried to put that aside to just do his job. He ended up being the one to find Capsize finding her hiding out in the rafters of an abandoned building. His attempts to talk her into coming with him quietly were thawed when Tom and Sonja arrived and he got knocked out. 

Jordan has always maintained that Capsize (and by association Redbeard) was manipulated by Tom into helping him. Everyone else on his team strongly disagrees, but Jordan's story of manipulation and threats is currently the public story as to why the siblings joined Tom's team. 

Waglington

Powers: Immortality, Invulnerability, Matter Creation and Destruction. Other powers assumed but unknown.

Technically Waglington is not a hero of the Heroes' Association, as much as the Association would loathe to admit that fact. Wag is, as they tell it, far older than the Association and power testing and are merely helping the Association because it interests them right now. Though they also once said they and their friends drank some glowing shots in college and woke up with powers so who really knows what's going on with them. 

What's important is that Wag is actually a part of the only legal independent heroes guild. They are legal only because the Heroes' Association can't arrest them without being completely destroyed and the guilt keeps helping the public so declaring them all supervillains would've been bad publicity that they really couldn't afford. But they remain legal and operating regardless of the reasons behind the decision.

As it stands, Waglington is “on loan” to the Association. Originally they were just helping with behind the scenes stuff, repairing damage from fights, creating vaults and cells for anyone or anything too dangerous for their current holding facilities. 

Now, though, Wag has been assigned to the team meant to take down Tom's group. Given that their current power restriction technology doesn't work on Tom and Sonja's ritual can and is slowly gaining the whole group more powers, Wag seemed almost like a requirement to even have a chance to capture the group.

However, whether they're truly helping really seems like it's up in the air with how they spend most confrontations having friendly conversation with the villains.

Andor

Powers: Flight (has wings), ability to manipulation thrown objects, heightened sense of sight and reaction speed

Andor really isn’t old enough for field work, especially not field work that involves attempting to take down an active supervillain group, but when Capsize and Redbeard joined Tom the heroes were now outnumbered and who better than Jordan’s mentee to join.

Andor’s family has a history with the heroes association; his grandfather was one of the first heroes recruited via power testing and was arguably the most well liked hero of his generation. His aunt too was a hero working for the organisation.

Was is the key word for both - infamously Spark and Martha Conway (alongside another high up hero Jeriah) left the heroes association over disagreements with other higher up over power testing and the stricter laws being implemented. They are now technically wanted villains despite not having been seen in over a decade.

Andor, the moment he started showing signs of having powers (namely growing wings), was taken by the Heroes' Association for training. Mostly out of fear that his grandfather would show up and take him otherwise. Hence Andor has more mixed feelings about the association than most heroes, even if he's got better friends and feeling of family here than he ever did at home.
