Darigon being weak to Wadrin and getting flustered often is cute and all, but I have a vision of a less ideal dynamic.

Let's say he already knows he's down bad in love with Wadrin when he's faced with the fact that he likes Luzian. Darigon doesn't CARE if he's just an experiment to Wadrin or if he's playing no homo with his emotions but he can't lie to himself that he doesn't want him bad. Even if Wadrin will never commit, Darigon is dreaming of an alternative universe where he can actually say that "I'm his and he's mine". And honestly, who CARES if Wadrin is in a Luzian phase right now, except HE DOES, if he's already played by Wadrin and his internalized homophobia he at least wants to feel special. Here's the thing, Darigon doesn't hate Luzian. It's more of a "but how could I hate her? She's such an angel; but then again kinda wish she were dead as she walks by" situation. Darigon thinks Luzian is nothing special, nothing against her, but she's insignificant. But whenever Wadrin mentions her he breaks down inside, panics and is devastated, he wants to scream "NO NO NONONO WADRIN PLEASE YOU DON'T LOVE HER STOP THIS I'M BEGGING PLEASE"

"I guess those Woodion guys really didn't have what it takes." This might be interpreted as him trying to manipulate Wadrin into letting go of Luzian. In this dynamic, Darigon has very intense emotions he can barely handle without visibly going insane. Well, no actually, he's already far gone. Far enough that becoming a knight is cool because Wadrin thinks so, and after doing anything, he immediately checks Wadrin's reaction.

He obssessive, but he has his reasons.

With this dynamic, I'd really want to see Darigon absolutely snap at someone making fun of Wadrin. Not just because he loves him, but because it would also hurt his ego if his polished view of blonde boy would get tarnished. He's so focused on Wadrin, he might die if it does.

But again, Darigon is literally going insane in this dynamic, he's one more "...Luzian though..." away from either brainwashing Wadrin and kidnapping him or dying of alcohol poisoning.

I thought a lot about these two since yesterday.

This drawing implies Darigon is a lot taller than Wadrin...? Trans Wadrin wins I guess (it's just the vibes lololol but I had this headcanon for a while now. God forbid I settle on one hc though)

I loved whatever the platonic sometimes romantic nonsexual long distance marrige with soulmate alligations they had going on but they were too perfect to make it to the end so OFC one of them had to die. You literally don't have to agree with me but damn. They were so calm and coordinated together. I'll miss this so much.
