My favourite super cheap makeup (I)
This is a selection of my favourite makeup products at the moment.
They're all super cheap, under 10€. I have a few favourite brands that are going to be repeated all throughout the different posts.
For some of the ''necessary'' categories to do a full face I don't have a favourite product or maybe I even skip it completely in my routine.
*Disclaimer: I'm not a professional. I'm just an aficionado and talk about things that have worked for me. Most of the packaging is pretty busted because this is stuff I use every day. Also, makeup that looks used can only tell about how much it is enjoyed.
- W7 Selfie Powder: around 3€. talc based compact setting powder. Very soft. Gives the skin a very airbrushed look without needing to cake products on. It's a completely white powder with a tinge of blue in it (I'd say), so it will probably look ashy in darker skin tones. Keeps my t zone matte, but I have a tendency to dry skin.
- Essence Luminous Matt bronzing powder in 01 Sunshine: around 4€. this is the first out of two shades, I believe, so go figure, shade selection sucks. Despite that, this is an awesome bronzer for fair skin. It's warm but it doesn't pull too orange. There's two rings to the product: the outer part is matte and darker and the inner part is fairer and softly shimmery. Together, they make a pretty natural satin finish on the skin. I've also used the darker shade in my crease and the lighter in my lid and it makes for a soft, natural eyeshadow look.
- Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights in Breathe: around 6€. This is supposed to be a highlighter. I definitely bought it with that intent, but it's way too dark for my skin tone, so I use it as a glowy blush-bronzer in the winter months when I'm at my fairest. It's the most natural, shimmer-free, GORGEOUS highlighter on medium and olive skins. It breaks my heart I can't use it that way. The packaging in this is busted because I dropped it, but it comes in a nice black sleek casing with gold lettering and a good mirror the same size of the compact.
- Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer in 10 Porcelain: around 4€. I wouldn't 100% say this is my favourite concealer because I still haven't found the perfect one for me, but I have repurchased this concealer multiple times. This one is a tad too drying for my liking, but my skin is somewhat dry and my under eyes are too. This has very good coverage and a little goes a long way, but it can be built up. It claims to be waterproof and I can't swear that, but it's definitely the most longlasting out of all the ones I've tried. It does have a quite strong perfume-y scent that I find super unnecessary, but it disappears after it's blended. Again, shade range sucks, limited to four shades of beige white. I hear they're working on it, though. Wouldn't recommend to very dry skin or sentive eyes.
