Markovo kale, ostaci tvrdjave pored Vranja #Vranje . "nalaze se pored sadašnjeg puta Vranje-Vlase, odnosno starog puta Vranje-Leskovac, 4.5 km severno od Vranja, na 750 m nadmorske visine. Prema jednom od predanja ovom tvrđavom je gospodario Marko Kraljević, pa otuda i njen naziv. Prema istom predanju Marko Kraljević je, na neki način, "kumovao" planinama između kojih se nalaze ostaci ovog njegovog kaleta, Pljačkovici i Krstilovici. Tvrđava je tokom istorije najviše služila u vojne svrhe, ali su u njoj stanovali i civili. Njeni ostaci danas su Spomenik kulture od velikog značaja, a sa njihove lokacije pruža se panoramski pogled na vranjsku kotlinu i naravno grad Vranje." by Stefan Mitić
