I feel like I missed what the Vortex arc is all about? Like, it's post restoration yeah? What's going on there?
There are a lot of factors leading up to it
-he fought tooth and nail to expose a spy that turned out to be the Head of Intelligence (which he’d always had a weird feeling about due to how fast he climbed the ranks)
-proceeds to get mangled by said spy and left to rot in garbage for weeks if not months while in severe stasis
-is miraculously restored only to discover that his sacrifice meant nothing and his Magnus is dead all because (in his mind) he couldn’t keep his mouth shut till he was in a secure location
-despite his frame being restored by the Allspark, he suffers lasting mental/software damage from the trauma his spark endured. Nightmares, nerve (wire?) pain, paranoia
-Decepticons are still wreaking havoc, not enough is being done to stop the carnage. (Flashbacks to Velocity being bombed, mass casualties that could’ve been prevented if Velocitron didn’t downplay the war so much)
-Blurr finally reaches a breaking point.
Just imagine what a bot with centuries of experience undercover can do with two energy saws, super speed, and no reason to hold back.
