***THIS MAY BE CONSIDERED A BIT OF SPOILER WARNING! IF U DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILED IN ANY WAY EVEN IF ITS NOT MUCH TALK ABOUT THE MAIN STORY PLEASE SKIP TO DISCLAIMER BELOW!!*** 

I will start by the fact of saying....I neither like nor dislike Leonardo from Be My Princess. If anything...I have more of a curiosity and pity for him. His only purpose was to serve as the "antagonist" to build up the plot for Joshua's route in both paid and party. But the sad part is....that's just it. That's his only role. And it doesn't help that we hardly know much of him and his own Kingdom and more history on what really went on and why Leonardo acted the way he did. I mean neither he nor Joshua were directly involved. 

To me...it was more of an influential thing from the parents and generations earlier. The main difference was how either handled it. Joshua clearly handled it maturely but with the added help from MC, while Leonardo handled it the way any antagonist would. Sad in my opinion. And even worse, a lot of fan-fiction writers portray him as nothing more than the villain (I don't know if all but from the most I have read...). I really have more pity for this fictional character. 

So coming to the point of this pic...I always wondered...what if deep inside...this boy didn't really want to do what he did but just well I mean if all your life...your own parents and family forced all their ideals....all their hatred of another family on to from childhood...it's VERY rare to have a different perspective unless guided and seen the truth and reality with your own eyes. In most cases, the said child will likely just go with what they have been taught from a young age without the justification. Basically, bad and stubborn parenting is why I feel Leonardo should not be as much as hated as others would...but that is just simply my own opinion so I don't have anything against those who still hate the guy. I mean we are all free to express our own thoughts without forcing them on to others.
