Itâs gonna be tough. I mean really tough.
Part of an interview Sophia did where she talks about:
-Whether Hank is Erinâs father or not.
-What sheâd like to see happen to Erin NEXT SEASON. (CAN THE âIS SOPHIA LEAVING THE SHOW?â STOP NOW?!) đđ

Erin had to come back to save Jay, but it doesnât mean her problem with alcohol/drug doesnât exist anymore. It would be realistic for her to fall back into her old demons because although itâs not purposely, the people sheâs supposed to trust are hurting her the most.
Sheâs strong. Do people forget that she is an ex alcohol/drug addict? That in early season one, there were still signs of her struggling with it? Ex-addicts people need a support system, hank and/or jay in her case. Itâs hard for them to stay clean, especially if their life is a complete mess. These people need stability, not more struggles.
Voila. I just wanted to say itâs just not that easy unlike what Iâve read. So far sheâs handle things the right way (justinâs death) and Iâm proud of her, but there is a storm coming her way..
So while I donât think the writers are going to do a dark days 2.0, she has grown, I wonder what her state of mind will be like. Itâs possible she might leave the city, temporarily or for good, to clear her head and start over, and that would be the answer to the question Annie asked her in 4x11.
Can I just say, I loved the ending of the episode. They didn't wrap everything in a pretty bow. The guy got out but after too many years, and even though Hank's intentions and efforts were good, the consequences of his previous actions (or lack thereof) can't be erased. They kept it realistic, having the guy slam the door in his face. And you could see Hank having a little revelation moment there. I think this may make him work harder to help Erin out with her troubles in the finale, especially since she helped him out again here. Wondering if he and Jay will team up and make it their mission..

Hey there! Can I ask what it was about last night episode that you didn't like so much? I like hearing your point of view on the show :)
Sure! Iâm not pleased that they implied thereâs a possibility Voight either slept with Bunny or may be Erinâs father for two reasons 1) to me it robs Voightsayâs story of everything that makes it special. Hereâs supposedly this tough/shady cop who takes in this girl for no other reason than he sees something special in her. He and his family give her a chance and become the stability and love sheâs been missing. They become family, not because they had to, not because they have some kind of tie or obligation to each other but because they chose to. 2) itâs cliche and predictable (we saw it coming) and a cheap writing move to cause drama when there are so many other storylines for other characters which would be so interesting to pursue. Thanks for asking!
One of the biggest plot holes if Hank turns out to be Erin's biological father: her feeling like she owed him for saving her would be pointless, because he left her with Bunny for 15 years. Even if he never knew she was his, it would be ridiculous since if he slept with Bunny he would have to at least suspect it. Therefore before he saved Erin, he left her to grow up in hell. Also, Justin would have liked and kissed his half-sister đˇđˇđˇ Really hoping there's a twist coming..
I still donât think Hank is Erinâs dad, although his comment and the fact that Jay is gonna get a DNA test (which I think is gonna prove Jimmy isnât her dad) could be proof of that. But Hank knowing Bunny for all of Erinâs life and not doing anything until she was 15 is weird enough, without him being her father. If he knew there was the slightest possibility he was, wouldnât he want to find out so that he can save her? I also donât imagine Hank sleeping with Bunny, especially since he was with Camille.. Thoughts? (I love the âfamily is not defined by bloodâ aspect of their relationship so I donât want him to be her biological father)
