Are any of these kiddies who think that not being like “those other boys/girls” somehow makes you the opposite gender? Because if all you need to be transgender is to claim you are without actually having any of the symptoms, anyone can be trans and turn their transness on and off at will and whatever “hurr ur not trans so ur wrong and cant say anything!!!!” argument you’re about to make is rendered completely invalid.

Dumbasses haphazardly claiming they have medical conditions they don’t and trying to warp the necessary conditions for them so they can pretend they’re special is almost as old as the internet itself. It’s just that unlike past condition fads (like schizophrenia, for example), there’s (currently) no test that can tell you whether or or not you have dysphoria, so doctors have to rely on the patient’s own testimony to judge whether or not changing their sex will fix their problem and the patient can easily lie or delude themselves enough that they think they have something they don’t. So now you have a bunch of short-sighted morons rushing to take hormones and get sex-changes that’ll regret their decision down the line when, surprise surprise, said procedure will then give them dysphoria. Which’ll make it harder for the actual transpeople to get the help they need since surgery is permanent and these clowns are gonna fudge the judged effectiveness of the procedure itself.
