Its something permanent same with the orcs' green skin i think
yEAH it makes sense if they used it in great quantities or regularly, or gained it from parents >:o Cause in the orc’s case, they willingly or were forced to let large amounts of it into their systems to the point it was a part of their DNA essentially, which would then kinda just become a trait for any future generations from those original orcs that used fel.
Same can be said for belves. It doesn’t seem like blood elves were originally any different from high elves at first, they just had a name change. But since so many belves kept using arcane or fel they gained green eyes. The DNA was passed to kids like the orcs and recent generations probably just have the green eyes permanently cause the fel/arcane is so deeply rooted in their system
In Kai’s specific case, she was born a high elf, didnt directly use fel OR arcane and didnt have it in her genes. She was around it which probably affected her system and gave her temporary green eyes or scared eyes but YE!!
