So baffled by the fact that Wikipedia lists Hozier as a baritone. Like just because he doesn't sound like Justin Bieber or any other teenybopper ass white boy doesn't change the fact that that man is cleanly belting C5s on the regular. He rarely ever goes below D3 too. Tenors are allowed to have richness to their voice
actually im hot as fuck when i sing low and fuck everyone who only ever wrote roles for women that were in soprano range because there is nothing hotter than a woman belting a low note

I need someone to give me one good reason why the Contralto voice type is so ignored, hated, and given literally NOTHING in the world of musical theatre.
In terms of vocal type, is Michael Crawford's singing voice best described as Counter Tenor, Lyric Tenor, or something else entirely?
Iβd describe his voice as a lyric tenor.
It is a high and light tenor voice, but to be a countertenor heβd have to constantly sing in falsetto, which he only does on certain notes.
whats ur voice type :3 (singing wise idk man??)
soprano
mezzo soprano
alto
contralto
tenor
baritone
bass
countertenor
