note: NONE of this is my original info it’s from wat I’ve seen across the internet, this just me regurgitating it to u dear viewer if u so kindly read my post (first one btw). this song is now found so u can watch if for urself I actually quite like it but thank if u choose to stay for this niche Vocaloid yap session
The original video was posted to niconicodouga (think of it as Japanese YouTube) was posted November 24 2010 with no title which has lead some ppl to call it the ‘untitled orange’ or ‘the orange song’. in the description of the video however there was one word ‘醜聞’ which translates to ‘Scandal’ which is most likely the actual name of this song. this song has two surviving vocalrank clips, which were videos mostly posted from niconicodouga that ranked all vocaloid songs (meaning songs that used a vocal synth of any kind) were ranked from that week from how much views and mylists it had, mylists being saved videos of especially songs that u could listen back on later. this practice was most prevalent in the years 2009-2013 so it makes sense as to why it would be in those videos. a lot of vocal ranks are lost to time, being deleted or private with little reuploads but two were able to survive using this song. the two vocal ranks featuring this song (forgot to mention that vocal ranks usually play 10 to 15 secs of a song as preview) were clips from 1:00 and 4:24. this song was actually lost media for the longest time, the video only having 716 views before it got deleted a month or two later by its creator ‘空洞P’ (or translated to CavityP in English, the P meaning producer which many vocaloid producers add to their names ie ‘CreepP’, ‘CircusP’ and ‘PinocchioP’ just to name a few). there’s no true known explanation as to why CavityP deleted the video so shortly after it being published whether because of the lack of attention or regret or whatever isn’t known. the creator CavityP is a very elusive person in general with no records of their true name, face, gender, or identity ever being found. the video attracted a lot of attention from a lot of ppl who have seen the two existing vocal ranks with its distorted image and creepy instrumentals (I found them more soothing than anything cuz im jus #different like that). the image that went with the video is an actual oil painting by French painter Jean-François Millet by the name of ‘The Angelus’ finished in 1859, the image of it being used in the video jus being a heavily edited image of the painting. this song was able to be found on SoundCloud back in 2024 by ‘fajeczki’ who is the one who actually uploaded the reprint of the video. they are pretty sure they had found CavityP’s actual SoundCloud because there’s plenty of other similar songs as well as another formally lost song by CavityP being ‘Black Cricket’ on there too. the entirety of the video that went with the song has not been found and will most likely remain lost media unless CavityP uploads it themselves which is very unlikely cuz they haven’t been active in over ten years online that I know of. the vocal synth being used in the video is Hatsune Miku but the lyrics she could be saying are unclear and distorted already so there’s little hope for there being any concrete translation or if there were any lyrics at all and it could have been just harmonizing. some ppl claim to hear ‘shūbun’ at certain points which is the title of the song ‘Scandal’ in Japanese. other than it’s jus very mysterious and I actually quite like it :p
