Just heard my voice on a video I sent to friends and like, it's got work to go for sure, but I didn't cringe and close the video, I actually kind of like it?

Why Learning Music at a Young Age Boosts Brain Development
Many parents look for meaningful activities to shape their child’s future — something that supports confidence, academic excellence, creativity, and emotional balance. One powerful option that continues to stand out across research, education, and science is learning music at a young age.
I'm thinking of getting vocal coaching.
At the trans event I went to there was a nonbinary person who gave an introspective workshop, and their voice was just so unique and beautiful, resonant and clear and perfectly understandable in a crowd without them raising it, and they could switch effortlessly between male and female registers. And all I could think was "Holy SHIT I want that for me."
They were a former professional opera singer, so I'm guessing there are limits to how much of their vocal control is teachable (as opposed to being talent and genetic luck). But I still want to try.
Anyone have experience doing vocal training, tips, things to focus on, videos to recommend, qualities to look for in a coach?
For reference, I have an untrained alto voice and a lot of vocal fry in how I speak. I strain my voice automatically to sound "friendly and femme" when making phone calls or having interactions with strangers, and I hate it. I'd like to train my voice to become stronger, lower, and more resonant and carrying, and to maintain a confident and engaging speaking pace.
Okie so bit of a weird one. Im doing group gender affirming vocal lessons this semester at a local college, and the class is being run using a TTRPG as a vehicle. We had to make characters and a background for ourselves, so I present Alex Gabby Di Stasi!
Intro:
There are three things in the world that I like: talking, fun, money, and talking. In that order.
Yes, in those amounts.
No, I will not elaborate.
I’m from wherever it’s convenient to be from depending on the situation. You’re from Silvervale? I had a cousin who lived there that I’d visit all the time. Your favorite song growing up was “Dances with Werewolves?” That was my jam. You know Jnani Dace? She was a childhood friend of mine, close as can be! She never spoke about me before? That tracks, given the head injury she had right after I left town.
…frankly I’m kind of upset with you for bringing that up. I don’t want to relive that trauma, tell me more about you.
Life is a performance, and the ability to adapt is the key to success. My hands are quick and my body moves as gracefully as I need, but my muscles are lacking and “bend but don’t break” is not how I’m built.
I break. I break easy.
Don’t punch me. One, I have the constitution of a vanilla wafer.
Two, I’m not into that.
What do I want? I want what you want, because that’s how I get by. Don’t worry, I’m not a hanger-on, I have my uses. You need me to butter someone up? Have to crash a fancy pants party but you’re not fancy (or have no pants)? Need some cash in a pinch? Call 1-877-Gabby-Di-Stasi and you’ll get a coin or two.
What do you mean “call 1-877-yada-yada?”
I dunno, using a number system to catalog citizens in order to easily route communication strikes me as a good idea. I’m ahead of my time, what can I say? Have we invented the word anachronism yet?

Speaking about voice -- my throat is starting to hurt, my voice gets hoarse, and sometimes weak/lacking in strength. It seems like I'm straining it a lot of the time, and I could really use some voice exercises to help me not do that, so I don't end up damaging it, but my region doesn't offer them.
Does anyone have recommendations for any good/reputable online ressources for ftm voice exercises?

Morning routine with vocal exercise from yesterday
Work (which was hell due to everyone panic buying right before this winter storm we're supposed to get)
Ate Breakfast
Ate Dinner
Charged my battery bank
Post yesterday's log because I forgot to hit post before going to bed (my bad)
Did my chest and abs workouts with some cardio (3 x 12 abdominal crunches at 30 lbs, 3 x 12 chest press at 40 lbs, 3 x 12 overhead press at 20 lbs, 1 min plank, 30 minutes on treadmill with an incline of 10 and a pace of 2).
Showered
Took my meds
Did night routine with vocal exercise from yesterday
Filled my gas tank in case the winter storm causes them to close
So our vocal coach from yesterday gave us some stretches and vocal warmups for the morning. She said I could also do it at night as well, so I am. I'm also starting to consciously drink more water.
I forgot how much I hate cardio. It might be different if it wasn't on a treadmill, but I always hate the way I feel during and immediately afterwards. Hopefully it'll get better the more I train. I tried doing sit ups, but my lower back hurt in a way it's not supposed to while doing them. I'm hoping that was just a one time thing, because I was able to do them last week without any issues.
