“Funny because last time we ran into each other you acted like you didn’t even know me. I’m surprised you’re speaking to me now,” he said crossing his arms.

Okay, so as you all might know, I’ve been on hiatus for quite some time due to lack of internet. But now I’m back, and I’m looking at my threads like... “are these too outdated now?” I don’t mind replying to them and carrying them out just fine, but I just wanna know if you guys still wanna finish them or if you’d like to drop them and start new ones. I’m fine with anything really.

Unexpected Reunion.

After catching Sera with a friend in the festival the other day, her coworkers would not let her be, and insisted they too went to the festival together. And so, after closing the café, most of Miss Marple’s employees headed out to celebrate, and dragged her along despite the plans she had for the night.
Time flew by as the group indulged in the fest’s activities; playing games, and filling their bellies. There was laughter and joking and smiles, and cameras and flashlights and photos. They all seemed to have fun. Even Sera, who was not too pleased at first, could not deny that she was enjoying her time. Yet still, she could not help but feel guilty that she could spend so much time like that, when she had a very bad gut feeling about the whole situation to begin with. She felt guilty because she felt like she had to do something about it. Only, there was nothing she could do but wait, for the time being.
She was nibbling on a fishcake, and her company cheer and compete in yet another round of Fire Alley. It was then that her eyes caught sight of a very familiar face, and her eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. He was only a few metres away, and the lighting wasn’t the best, but she could swear the man she just saw was none other than her cousin, Song Minho.
She bolted in his direction without a word to her coworkers, if it were really him, then she had to get to him at all costs. He had disappeared two years ago after the horrific death, murder, of his father, and she had been looking for him ever since. The case of his father’s death was not closed, as far as she knew. He had told her it was all in self-defence, but once he disappeared, she could not convince anyone of anything.
She chased him, and cursed under her breath as he turned behind yet another vendor while she was still trapped in the crowd. She hadn’t realized just how packed the street was until that moment. She couldn’t run, there was no room to run without knocking people off their feet as she did.
She followed his steps, and turned behind the same vendor... but he was nowhere to be found.
“Nononono. Not again, no.” She muttered repeatedly, as she carefully scrutinized every male’s face. “C’mon, where did you go?”
The few moments it took to locate him again felt a lot longer than they truly were, and she was starting to breathe heavily. This time, she ran, yelling out "excuse me”s as she pushed through the disorganized lines of people, and finally, she reached him.
Her brows furrowed, and her lips pursed.
“Minho!” She yelled out as she grabbed his arm.
