but also it feels wrong to make it myself? because emmet was the one who made our coats originally. he liked knitting and sewing and all those fun flowy fiber arts, while i really stuck to cooking and the more mechanical side of making things, even when we weren't at work.

but also, the chances of me finding my emmet, and of them still enjoying sewing enough that theyd be willing to make our coats again (of course id pay them in this hypothetical, i value the time and work that goes into making things) are so slim that really, if i want it again, i WOULD have to make it myself. because i refuse to buy it online because the fabrics wont be Right and if im going to drop an inadvisable amount of money on yet another coat it better be perfect.

but even then, it was never really about the coat, was it? it was what the coats represented. about us being two halves of a whole, even when we ended up being temporarily temporally separated because of the rift bullshit.
