2. With the whole dual partnerships system that makes up VBS, there's the obvious gender separation of Rin symbolizing the Vivids while Len symbolizes BAD DOGS.

If I remember correctly, Len often reflects Akito and Touya's issues in the stories, though it's been a while since I've read the earlier ones.

3. I also noticed that VBS could be split with Rin standing for Kohane and Touya and Len standing for An and Akito because of the divide between each pair's exposure to Vivid Street and the order of the Kagamines' introductions to VBS.

It's stated in the main story that Rin existed in the Sekai from the beginning along with Miku, MEIKO, and Len, but she doesn't show up during the main story.
