今年秋季的Windows 10 秋季创造者更新不仅为工程师Raphael 带来了全新的通知、控制中心，还让搞垮了我正在用来调串口的Xilinx Vivado 2017.2 IDE。每一次打开Vivado 的尝试都会带来一个叫做「Pure virtual function call」的错误。

尽管已经有学者提出[1]终极解决方案，但眼下最重要的还是将就着把调试软件修好，以调试好串口程序来跟指导老师师兄师姐交代。

Xilinx 的官方论坛已经出现了相关的解决方案，但在简体中文的互联网环境中还没出现很好的解答[2]。因此，我将在在本文中介绍这个小小的work-around。

在接受了Windows 10 秋季创造者更新后，Vivado 2017.2 不工作；双击桌面的Vivado 2017.2 图标会弹出一个错误对话框（dialog box），标有着“R6025 - pure virtual function call”的错误提示。即便是试着打开开始菜单里的Vivado，也会出现一样的异常。

这是一个兼容性问题。在官方正是解决这个问题之前，我们暂时可以用以下步骤来解决。

在资源管理器中访问Vivado 的安装目录（请参考你安装时候选择的地址，或找找快捷方式指向的地方），找到 \2017.3\bin\unwrapped\win64.o 文件夹

备份“vivado.exe”文件——将它重命名为“vivado.exe.backup”

将“vivado-vg.exe”文件复制一份在其原本的目录——拷贝、粘贴即可

将“vivado-vg.exe”的副本（比如，可能叫做“vivad-vg.exe - 拷贝”）重命名为“vivado.exe”

经过这些步骤，Vivado 不能使用的问题应该已经得到了解决。

根据译者Raphael 的测试，文中所述的解决方案应该确实能够起作用，且在Synthesis, Implementation 和Generating Bitstream 的时候皆未出现过异常。

After the update to Windows 10 1709 (Fall Creators Update) starting Vivado aborts with error "R6025 - pure virtual function call". I went back to  Windows 10 1703, so I can continue working.

However if other people have the same issue, the problem should be solved.

While this update for Windows 10 is not officially supported with Vivado 2017.3, the following work-around is available:

Navigate to (Vivado Installed Directory)\2017.3\bin\unwrapped\win64.o

Backup 'vivado.exe' by renaming it to 'vivado.exe.backup'

Copy 'vivado-vg.exe' and paste it into the same folder.

Rename 'vivado-vg - Copy.exe' to 'vivado.exe'

After the above steps are followed, Vivado will launch normally.
