Of course he didn’t know. Humans are generally never shy about their laments. Why would that be such a surprise for her? Even if Eira were assigned to be his guardian angel, Web had no way of knowing that. She was just easily excitable.

“Did you want to talk about it?”

      Having not realised he had spoken aloud, Web turned his head sharply to the side, slightly wide-eyed and concerned. He hadn’t expected anyone to hear his melancholy mutterings, but she had. A faint blush touched his cheeks, embarrassed that he had been heard, not wanting to come off as some miserable guy who talks to himself.

      ❝ I... I mean... you’d really wanna listen to me? ❞

      People who genuinely wanted to listen to other people’s problems, to allow them to get things off their chest without making it about themselves, were so rare; so hard to find. Understandably, Web was a little sceptical.

    Roman was already alerted by the way she moved around her own body, but her aggressive nature was the tipping point. Either she was beyond drunk, or he’d eaten something someone had made. 

     The grasp at his wrist made the man stiffen like a rock, freezing in his spot while grabbing the arm that held onto him. “Look, lass, I’m not sure you’re feeling right. What happened? Did you take something?”

    “I think you need a cold shower,” he half joked, “or to lay down. I’ll get you some water.”

Only if Alexander The Great and Hephaestion get to be together. Otherwise what’s the point?! (Lmao jk obvs - v exciting :3 )
