Brendan had been aware of heat week approaching, having been around enough supernatural creatures before Krovs to recognize the signs. Things had turned a little more hectic down in the Undercroft as the day went on, becoming a hell of a lot noisier, and Brendan had already been rented a few times to help out masters who suffered with heat. He'd just been escorted back down and was making his way to his bed to try and recuperate when his gaze fell on a familiar enough figure. "Hey there, puppy." Brendan greeted casually, a faint smirk playing around his lips. "You alright? Kind of look a little miserable there."

Merek himself didn't go through heat but considering just how much the pyromancer enjoyed sex, he was all too happy to help out those suffering. One of his first stops as always happened to be Lucien's suite, though it happened to be Vitaly who answered the door instead of the councilman. Not that Merek was complaining, of course, as the hellhound was always very nice to look at. And also clearly in need of some help, if the look on the other man's face was anything to go off of. Well, that and other things, the pyromancer's gaze fixing briefly on the man's crotch. "Oh, hello, darling. Do you, ah...need some assistance with that?"

He'd always found ways to keep himself busy and distracted when he'd worked for Krovs, but that wasn't so easy as a slave. Especially one who hadn't been claimed yet. Unfortunately, the pyromancer had struck out when it came to getting upstairs for the night -- the master had been much more interested in a newer slave -- and so Merek was restlessly pacing around the Undercroft. Walking through into one of the common areas, Merek paused as he saw a familiar face. He'd known Vitaly from when they'd worked together, of course, although he'd made a point to avoid ever having to see the doctor in his office. Nothing personal, really, but Merek had always been nervous in those environments. "Vitaly, hello. How have you been?"
