Amani Amri Monday,24 Oct 2016 Oman is one of the oldest cultures in gulf reigon. It filled with sculptures tell a long history of Oman. It has existed as a nation for several thousand years. The modern Oman is a creation of the last tow centuries.The Omani culture owes much to the geography of the country. Seas to the north , east and desert to the west and south. Northern of Oman is separated from southern Dhofar by several hundreds kilometers of desert, which results in the culture disfinctiveness of the Dhofaris! As a result, talking about the Dhofari culture is different than the northern culture. So if we take a view off Mirbat for example; which is a coastal town in Dhofar governorate in southwestern Oman and one of the Dhofar's most intersting smaller towns ,you will see two miniature statues of prancing horses a top columns flank the entrance to the town which are a whimsical memorial to its history as an important breeding centre for arabian steeds. A few meters further you will see the towns small Fort standing proudly above the waves. So, it is clear from the visual culture in Mirbat that the identity of the old Mirbat's people is defensive and protective! Nowadays, Mirbat is a modern town although it still saves some old memories to let others have an idea about the history of this small town represnted in Mirbar Fort and the Tow Horses which located in the entrance of the town.

 The second example the logo of Suwaiq state is "Camel" due to the spread of camels in this region. Suwaiq owns more than 20 of the famous strain camels. They participate in Almzaanh due to their experience in the camels.
