Croatia boasts 1,100 miles of impressive mainland coastline and over 1,200 nearby islands. So why not explore Croatia by cruise? Croatia's cruise season generally runs from Mid-April to mid-October. Start with Dubrovnik, coined the pearl of the Adriatic. UNESCO lists Dubrovnik's old town center as a world heritage site. Equally as beautiful is Split, the main town of Dalmatia. Back in 305 AD, the city captivated the heart of the Roman emperor Diocletian, who decided to build a residence here. Do you love the beach? Visit Zadar, which is known for its wonderfully glassy sea. Wherever you want to go, I'd like to help you get there. So be sure to call or send me an email when you are ready to start planning. ncruise ncruiseports

Visit any or all of Croatia’s eight national parks: Brijuni, Kornati, Krka, Mljet, Paklenica, Plitvice Lakes, Risnjak, and Northern Velebit. Frequently referred to as heaven on earth, Brijuni has 14 small islands that are famous for their beautiful shapes, varied and distinct forms, and high cliffs. Meanwhile, Plitvice, which has 16 lakes that are connected by waterfalls as high as 78 meters, is just another one of the Croatian national parks that will truly captivate you with its natural beauty. I’d love to help you plan your trip to see these natural wonders, so be sure to call or email me when you’re ready to start planning. nfauna nflora
One of the most famous desserts in Croatia is fritule. It is an integral part of the culture of the coastal region and is considered a must-serve, especially during holidays in Dalmatia. Fritule is made from a mixture of flour, eggs, dry yeast, and warm water, milk, or yogurt. The dough is formed in small balls, fried in oil, and covered with powdered sugar. While they are similar in taste to doughnuts, fritule also has the distinct flavor of the individual ingredients tossed into the mix, such as raisins, lemon zest, rum, or apples. Get a taste of it during your trip to Croatia, which I’d love to help you plan. Be sure to call or send me an email when you’re ready to start planning. ndessert

The Cravat. If there is one thing that the Croatians can proudly claim to have gifted the world, it undoubtedly should be the cravat. While it is today an important fashion accessory among the high heeled, its origins are quite interesting. It was in the 17th century when the necktie took Western Europe by storm. Croatian soldiers went to the aid of the French king Louis XIII thirty year war between 1618 and 1648. Besides their fearsome reputation, these battle hardened Croatians were also known for their brightly coloured knotted neck cloths - an easy way to identify other comrades on the battlefields as they didn't have a standardised uniform in those days. Once the war was over, the French king enlisted a few of these as part of his elite unit, until finally, in 1667, a special regiment was formed - The Royal Cravates. The French soldiers quickly adopted this style. Not long after, the fashionable Parisian made it chic to wear one. And thus a new French word - cravat, which came from the phrase 'a la Croatte' or 'the way the Croats use to tie it'. It wasn't long before it spread to England, America and finally, the rest of the world. Incidentally, today, the 18th of October, is celebrated as International Necktie Day. ________________________________________ @nofixedaddrs #nofixedaddrs www.nofixedaddress.in _________________________________________ Croatia Full of life 🇭🇷 @croatiafulloflife #DiscoverTheColoursOfCroatia @zagrebtourist #AroundZagreb 💕 #VisitZagreb #ZagrebLovesYou #LoveZagreb #Zagreb _________________________________________ ………. ……... …….. ……. …… ….. …. … .. . #worldcravatday #cravatregiment #croatia #zagrebcity #zagrebcroatia #zagrebstreet #zagrebfacts #zagrebackimulicama #zagrebusrcu #zagrebinheart #zagrebcity #zagrebinsta #zagrebinstagram #guardofhonour #kravatpukovnija #army #unlimitedcroatia #timeoutcroatia #time4croatia #changingoftheguard #cravat #tie #croatiapostcards (at St. Mark's Church, Zagreb) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGeUTKXsbYs/?igshid=87ueztsj4cd5
