So I was driving in Gozo on a Wednesday afternoon. It was a great day with not a cloud in sight. Back to last June and along with @werkuz, we had been driving to different destinations around Gozo. To our surprise, there were barely any tourists except for Ramla bay. We were heading back to the ferry and I always like passing through the side country road rather than the main road. All of a sudden we spot this guy sitting in the middle of a field, smoking the pipe and looking far out towards Malta. He seemed so happy and relaxed. Wera and I just looked at each other and didn’t say a word. It’s weird how a person being in the middle of a field doing nothing grabbed our attention. I wanted to get a shot of him looking at the same direction so I couldn’t distract him, and obviously not wanting to distract his peace. So I turned the car around before he could see us. I parked at a distance and tried hiding and taking a photo but I didn’t like the composition. So I set the shutter speed to high, put the camera on continuous shooting, and gave the camera to Wera and told her to shoot as many photos while driving by and hope that he doesn’t look into the camera (by looking at the car). To our surprise he didn’t care that a car was passing (in 20 minutes we were the only car passing so not many cars pass).
