Denver es una ciudad que destaca por sus museos y amor al arte. Tanto así que la cadena @hilton abrió un espectacular hotel de su @curiocollection llamado @theartahotel donde se exhiben piezas del Museo de Arte de Denver y otras más exclusivas de la propiedad. Y ya que andábamos en día de museos pensamos que el lugar ideal para comer antes de nuestra visita al museo era comer en @firerestaurantdenver y así seguir con ese mood cultural y divertido. Al frente del restaurante esta el @chefjonkeeley en el cual ofrece una propuesta con ingredientes de la mas alta calidad pero sobre todo lo más fresco de la temporada. La estrecha relación con los productores le permite saber cuándo estarán listas las verduras o que pescados han llegado recién salidos del mar. De mis favoritos el Skirt Steak que viene con chimichurri deliciosos y jitomates heirloom, su pork belly glaseado. Algo que destaca es un programa de coctelería y pues ya que estábamos en ello pedimos el mas popular que viene en una enorme fuente con popotes de colores para que cada quien vaya tomando. Se elabora con Gin y otros ingredientes secretos que prometieron compartirlos con nosotros. Los viernes es día de fiesta ya que su terraza es de las más bonitas de la ciudad. Verán que la foto 3 es de algo que pareciera un espectacular de una playa pero no, es un foto de Rob Reynolds. We discovered some fresh, creative, savory biscuit deliciousness from the Denver Biscuit Company in Denver Colorado. If you follow us then you understand we're always on the hunt for fresh prepared deliciousness, creative chefs and vidrant but cozy restaurant spots around the USA. Drew Shader, owner of the @denverbiscuitco came to Colorado from Florida to attend college. Soon after in 2009 he started the Denver Biscuit Company and the rest is history. They only use farm fresh vegetables and ingredients to create some bold modern American Biscuit flavor profiles that are savory, some sweet and loaded with deliciousness. The biscuits are flakly goodness topped with just about anything you can imagine. Each biscuit we tried was served phat, stacked high and HF&D #HotFreshandDelicious. 2 Delicious Culinary Discoveries ✌ 😋 Trey's Chow Down Road Trip'in the USA 🇺🇸 for deliciousness. We discovered two more unique, fresh and delicious culinary finds in Denver. I have to say I was extremely impressed with the flavor profiles. Both of these dishes where literally off the chart and my two BEST finds in Denver for unique reasons. 1. Cholon Denver & Central Park: Chef Lons fresh prepared soup dumplings that taste like "French Onion Soup." When these dumplings bust in your mouth it's a favor experience you'll never forget. Ka-Pow and it's just like French Onion Soup with each bite. Truly unique and unforgettable! General Cho Dumplings same way absolute flavor perfection with each dumpling. ( Please see Trey's Chow Down) for full review on chefs and Cholon locations. A MUST VISIT while in Denver. 2. Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar. I'm not even sure how culinary finds happen like this but it was a complete shock and surprise to both of us. As usual we do our research and we where looking for something totally different but what we found was unbelievable to both of us. We discovered the BEST fresh prepared Corn Bread dish I've ever eaten in my entire life. I don't say that lightly it was truly unbelievable. We where reviewing the menu and there it was: FRESH BACON 🥓 FAT CORNBREAD I looked up and said Jana you see this? Bacon Fat what? Bacon Fat what? O....M.....G! The cornbread is served in a hot cast iron skillet sizzling with fresh house whipped Maple 🍁 butter and we added fresh house whipped salted butter. I can't even began to describe the savory, buttery deliciousness with each bite of cornbread. The cornbread was perfectly prepared with a light crusty outside and very fluffy flavorful inside. When you add the fresh house whipped butter it's a kaleidoscope of flavors that will make you smile and scream at the same time..I feel like I've been cornbread CHEATED my entire life after eating this incredibly delicious dish.
