Last Call for Merch & Post-Con Announcements
Hey all,
We hope you’ve had a restful week to recover from your con-crash, our team definitely needed it! Con weekend was an absolutely wild ride, but we’re so happy that folks seem to have had a blast. We’ve been keeping up with everyone’s photo dumps, hauls, and fanart, and we honestly could not be prouder of the wonderful community we’ve built.

And now, for the standard post-con wrap-up.
Can I still get merch?
Yes, but not for long! Our merch store will be closing tomorrow, on Friday, August 14th at 11:59 PM (EDT). We will not be restocking anything before this deadline, so make sure to move quickly if you’ve got your heart set on anything!

When will merch orders be shipped out?
Due to recent changes in Canadian-US trade relations, we will be prioritizing American orders. All American orders will be shipped out by Monday, August 17th to avoid the 50% tariffs the Trump administration intends to impose on August 19th. All other orders will be shipped out by the first week of September.
Will you be shipping out Lost & Found items?
Unfortunately, we currently have no plans to ship out lost & found items. Unstable international trade relations and the rising cost of shipping have made this unfeasible at the current moment. If you lost something important at DashCon 2 and would be willing to pay for shipping, you can shoot us an email at [email protected], and we’ll see what we can do. We’re sorry that we can’t do more, and thank you for your understanding.
When will the panel recordings be out?
VODs for all of the Virtual and In-Person panels are currently slated to release in September. Our incredible VirtualDash team has been hard at work editing over 100 hours of footage and will be getting the finished videos out the door as soon as possible. Captions may not be immediately available for all videos, but will be added over time.
Speaking of, our team is seeking volunteers to help write captions for all of the VODs. We're committed to providing human-written captions for all of our videos, so please reach out to [email protected] to help us make DashCon 2 accessible for all!
As with last year, VOD access is included for all volunteers, in-person, and virtual DashCon 2 ticket holders. VODs will also be available directly for purchase, with a portion of all proceeds going to the Rainbow Railroad.
DashCon 2 next year?
We absolutely plan to run DashCon 2 again in 2027! We’ve already started on the boring logistical work to prep for year 3, but don’t want to make any certain promises before those details are settled. We’re committed to making this con the best it can be, and right now that means taking things one step at a time. In the meantime, you can subscribe to our Substack or join our Discord to stay involved in all things DashCon 2! We’ll also be putting out a general feedback form soon, so keep an eye out for that.
In sum, thank you for all so much for another amazing year of DashCon 2. We’re so grateful to be able to run this crazy thing for a second year in a row, and we’re excited to continue improving the event going forward.
