My eight-year-old’s favourite episode of ATLA is The Beach. (I think she has a small crush on Ty Lee.) Now every time she practises her violin, she asks me ‘What would the Fire Four say?’ So I have to critique my rejection-sensitive daughter’s pre-Grade 1 violin playing in character as Azula, Zuko, Mai and Ty Lee. I know little about Paganini, other than the fact that his name is synonymous with difficult violin pieces. However, watching the kind of brilliant techniques his works required inspired me to strive for mastery in my own fields of interest.

It’s finally December! My favourite month of the year! For this month I decided to make one page for every single day in my bullet journal, so I have lots of work to do everyday!
Now and then we are writing quite many exams in school which is a little overwhelming together with all that Christmas stuff to do lately! But we’re gonna survive this!
