Finishing up the second layer of the print. . It was coincidental when I stumble upon the renowned artist/activist in this print, -Shirin Neshat @shirin__neshat As I was leafing through materials and articles on Women Empowerment, her name came up and what I found is just phenomenal. Her most known works are photographs depicting the glimpse of cultural, religious and political realities that shape the Muslim women worldwide. Her works speaks volume to an audience like me. Her experience shown through her works, resonates the lives of people(women) caught between cultures for herself is an Iranian living in western culture. Her works are powerfully expressive, exploring the role of women in Islamic Society. .
