J G Meakin Renaissance English Ironstone Sterling vintage ceramic china dinnerware. This set includes 9 dinner plates, 10 salad or dessert plates, cups and saucers - 6 cups with 10 saucers, sugar bowl, creamer or gravy sauce boat, and vegetable bowl. A 38 piece set. With beautiful scalloped edges and a flowing leaf pattern on green, this china dinnerware will make a beautiful table setting for any occasion. These dishes are hand engraved for lasting color and wear. The dishes are in varying degrees of condition from good to excellent. Excellent shows no ceramic wear, cracks, crazing, discoloration, or chips. Crazing is defined as surface cracks to the ceramic glaze found on vintage china that isnt a crack, and the dish is useable. Dinner plates - 10 in diameter: 6 excellent condition with no ceramic wear, cracks, crazing, discoloration, or chips. 2 show some wear to the ceramic at center with 1 chip on back, and 1 has crazing with a chip. All are useable. Salad or dessert plates - 7 in diameter: 5 are in very good to excellent condition, and 5 have varying degrees of crazing. No chips on any. All are useable. Cups - 2-3/4 diameter at mouth x 3 high - 5 excellent condition and 1 very good with minor crazing on the interior. No chips on any cups. Saucers - 5-3/4 in diameter: 9 are in very good to excellent condition and 1 has crazing. No chips on any saucers. Vegetable bowl - 8 in diameter: Very good condition with no chips or crazing. Creamer (or could be used for sauces and gravy) - 4-1/2 wide x 4-1/4 high at widest point - excellent condition. Sugar bowl - 6 wide (handle to handle) x 6-1/4 high - excellent condition.
